Bieffebi’s patented “Image Mounting System” on the gearless mounting and proofing machine Model OMNIA 335 or 336 allows you to mount flexo plates in register with microdots or crosses, but more importantly can also work without the need of microdots or crosses.  In this way, the operator can check and correct problems by focusing on, and overlaying, key areas of the printed image.

 

  
Bieffebi's machine model Unica 343-VM is the latest generation flexo plate mounter with virtual proofing.  The operator can work with micro dots, or any area of the image on the plate.  The virtual information software (VIS) uses a pdf file of the job to be mounted to make a virtual proof.  Other features include automatic detection of micro dots, motorized cameras with position memory and digital storage and recall for job saving.
